Holsworthy is an incredibly beautiful town in the heart of Torridge in Northern Devon. First recorded in the Doomsday book of 1086AD as Haldeword, the town boasts a rich history and wonderful scenery.

If walking (or hiking) is your thing, Holsworthy offers many options through apps such as Kamoot, but here are a few of our recommended trails that take you back in time to see life in the town as the US GIs did, or through the forests for a true experience of Devon countryside.

There are options for casual walkers to more experienced hikers depending on experience and fitness levels, but all routes are enjoyable and interesting for everyone.
